Only add more solar panels if your batteries don't become fully charged on most sunny days or during peak solar production the solar panels don't produce enough electricity to power your house without help from the grid. When I have enough money to actually do this I will write documentation with a lot of photos and explanations about things you might run into when you expand you energy production.
